The Aliyah Center, an integral part of the Israel Center of the San Francisco Jewish Community Federation, is to serve as the official resource for information for all who are considering Aliyah to Israel.

Advice is to be offered concerning various aspects of life in Israel, including: education, housing, health, employment and business opportunities.  Financial assistance, including a one way ticket to Israel, is offered to those determined eligible.

In addition to facilitating immigration, the Center will serve Jewish young adults and students who are interested in attending short term programs in Israel.  A myriad of unique volunteer, study and work programs are available for this age group. 

The Israel Aliyah Center works in cooperation with the local Jewish student organizations, Jewish organizations and synagogues.  The Center will initiate events throughout the year in an effort to bring Israel closer to the Pacific Northwest.
